Follicular microtransplantation is an outpatient procedure
performed under local anaesthesia that involves transferring
of micrografts with 1?2 hair bulbs to the bald or balding
areas. The hair for transplantation is taken from the back
of the head that is genetically resistant to baldness.
The site of donor graft is sutured, the sutures are removed
after 10-12 days. A small scar remains in this place that
is almost invisible after the procedure since it is completely
covered by hair.
So, during the procedure micrografts containing 1-2 hair
follicles are transplanted. In the area of baldness or
partial loss of hair micropunctures of the skin are made,
where then the micrografts are placed. The number of transplanted
follicles depends on the size of bald area, thickness of
the hair and hair structure. During one session to 1.5
thousand follicles may be transplanted.

The procedure lasts for 4-6 hours. During this time, the patient
sitting in a comfortable armchair may watch TV or listen to
the music.
One day after the transplantation the patient may wash their
head with shampoo and continue with their regular lifestyle.
The growth of new hair will begin 4 months later and will continue
during the whole lifetime. Transplanted hair preserves all
its natural characteristics, it can be cut, dyed, styled.
Hair transplantation can considerably improve your appearance,
relieve you from psychological discomfort and make you feel
self-confident.
